WHERE IS OBONGA LAKE?
Obonga lake is north of the City of Thunder Bay approx 200 KMS up Highway 527 (the Armstrong Highway) and approx 30 KMS south of the town of Armstrong.
Obonga Lake is 26 miles long with several large bays and reached depths of over 200 feet. It has 12 inlets, rivers and creeks and one outlet.
Obonga Lake has excellent populations of WALLEYE, NORTHERN PIKE, LAKE TROUT, LAKE HERRING and WHITEFISH.
There is a high moose and black bear count in this region.
