NEED WATER ?...there are a number of natural springs on the property. There is an 18 foot, natural spring fed dug well that provides plenty of fresh, cool, water .
There is a pond, spring fed of course, that the owner states is full of minnows, lots of them! You won’t have to buy any minnows to go fishing in the area..cause you have your own supply.
THE PROPERTY....159 ACRES of deeded land that comes with both surface and * mineral rights. Trees were harvested approximately 20 years ago, but have grown back and this growth is attracting lots of game. Some 3,000 spruce trees were planted on this property about 18 years ago. There are a number of small meadows that deer and moose bed in on this property.
Crown land surrounds this property on all sides, in fact the Crown portion immediately to the west of this property has been designated as an “animal corridor”. That is because the moose and deer travel along that 300 foot wide stretch just like it was a highway.
Hunter's or photgrapher's Paradise for moose, deer and bear. Wolf, coyote & fox and plenty of small game. Partidge, rabbit are abundant and many bird species. 4 comfortable hunting huts - 4X8 & 5X10 Speaking of moose and deer...the day we inspected the property we saw so many deer tracks and the odd moose track that it just made you want to sit and wait for them.< We also saw plenty of partridge (grouse). BEAR? The owner states that there are two bear dens close by that have provided them many hours of pleasure watching the bear cubs play. Red foxes are plentiful, always hunting for field mice.
DON’T LIKE TO HUNT ? That’s OK ! Spend hours and hours watching or photographing animals in their natural habitat, many species of songbirds, geese and ducks flying by, rabbits and grouse.
