Non resident landowners do not have to go through an outfitter or use a guide to hunt black bear in this WMU.
MOOSE
Non resident landowners are not eligible to apply in the resident moose draw for an adult validation tag , BUT non-residents who are owners of land in this WMU and wish to hunt in this WMU may apply for a calf validation tag from a Service Ontario Centre. You purchase a moose licence and, prior to the hunt, submit their application along with proof of ownership to a Service Ontario Centre.
SMALL GAME
This is small game heaven, the partridge (grouse) are everywhere and so are the rabbits.

FOR THE FISHERMEN
There are a number of roads close to this property and off Highway 101 that go north to Lake Abitibi.
Fish for Walleye and Northern Pike in Lake Abitibi.
There are also some major rivers close by where there is some fine fishing to be had.
Rivers like Mattawasaga River, the Lighning River, the Ghost River and McCool Creek. All good fisheries that provide excellent fishing.
There are many smaller lakes nearby that also provide real good Walleye and Northern Pike fishing.
