Crown land is close by, with the north east corner touching thousands of acres.

Forested mainly with small black spruce and tamarak trees.

Less than 10 kms, (6 miles), from the junction of Hwy 655 and Algonquin Blvd, (Hwy 101), Timmins main thoroughfare.
