This road is maintained year round by the MTO Electrical power runs along the front of the property, quite easy and relatively inexpensive to bring it into the property. Bower Creek flows through the property. This creek averages 20-25 feet wide and it flows west into the North Driftwood River which is about 1 ½ miles west of the property. Concession 6 & 7 Road dead ends at the river. The North Driftwood River averages anywhere from 50 – 100 feet wide. This river flows north and can be travelled for many miles by boat, canoe or kayak. Fish the North Driftwood River for northern pike and walleye. The terrain of the property is relatively level throughout. There are some field areas and lots of wooded areas with mature spruce, poplar and birch trees. The mix of trees appears to be about 60 percent hardwoods and about 40 percent softwoods. Across the road from the property are two Crown properties that total 300 acres. Behind these two Crown properties there are about a 2,000 acres of Crown land. Below this property there are over 6,000 acres of Crown land. You can hunt all over the Crown land. There are old trails that you can access by ATV and lots of creeks that you can explore by canoe. This area is noted for really good hunting for moose, black bear and small game like grouse and rabbit. The hunting unit is WMU 30 There is no deer season in WMU 30. We just got this property to sell today and have not had the opportunity to visit the property or take pictures. Pictures will follow in about 2 weeks.
