2004 Annual Fishing Trip

385 ACRES ON NEMEGOSENDA LAKE   $150,000.00 CDN
BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS
MOONLIT NIGHTS
WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT ?

This is the Canadian Wilderness.
If you love the land of many lakes, rocks, trees and sky, you will love Nemegosenda Lake.

This unique property is located in one of the finest fishing and hunting areas of northwestern Ontario.

The property has the Nemegosenda River flowing through it.

Fishing is for Walleye, Northern Pike and Lake Trout.

Besides providing exciting fishing and hunting for the avid sports person, this property is also oriented for the entire family, for swimming, water-skiing, boating, wilderness adventures, and picturesque scenery for the camera enthusiast.
The lake shore is dotted with granite outcrops, protected coves, sandy beaches, and over a dozen tributaries feeding into Nemegosenda Lake.

Just imagine fishing and hunting. Hunt the Kings-of-the-Forest: moose and black bear.
The grouse hunting in this area is excellent!

Nemegosenda is Ojibway for “Where the Trout Are”

Nemegosenda Lake is located 30 miles NE of Chapleau, Ontario and 4 hours Northeast of Sault Ste. Marie via Thessalon.
This lake offers great fishing.

The fishing on this remote lake can be summarized in one word - phenomenal.

The lack of fishing pressure allows the Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Brook Trout, Whitefish, and Smallmouth Bass the time needed to grow to trophy proportions.

Nemegosenda lake is approximately 8 miles in length, 2 to 3 miles wide with a lake surface area of 4,600 acres.
The lake has a maximum depth of 300' with plenty of great fishing structure in the 10' to 30' depths.
The lake has an average depth of 90 feet

Two main river systems empty into the lake.
The Nemegosenda River drains the lake, and is navigable for 14 miles with unrivaled scenery.
In the Nemegosenda River Speckled Trout may be caught.

The Nemegosenda River averages 15' to 20' depths.

This is moose and black bear country.
It is also waterfowl habitat, with significant wetlands interspersed among the boreal forests.

This lake offers not only great fishing but relaxation in an area abounding with wildlife and breathtaking scenery.
The sunsets are a sight to behold.
Bear, moose, osprey, blue heron, bald eagles and all kinds of ducks are seen regularly.

There is one resort with five cottages on the lake and that is located near the property and is adjacent to the whitewater outlet of the Nemegosenda River. In fact the property surrounds the resort property and site.

Surface rights are being sold with the property, although the trees are reserved to the Crown and there is a 400 foot shoreline reservation along the shore of the lake on which a cabin cannot be built on.

ACCESS IS BY AIR ONLY !!

Fly - in arrangements can be made with Air Ivanhoe out of Follyet or by other float plane carriers out of Chapleau.
