The Town of Monteith is only 8 kilometers to the southeast. The Town of Porquis Junction is only 5 kilometers to the northwest. The larger Town of Iroquois Falls is only 12 kilometers to the north. The large City of Timmins is only 65 kilometers away to the west. Go fishing on the Black River or the Abitibi River. It is only 7 kilometers northeast by road to a public launch area near the junction of the Black and Abitibi Rivers. Go fishing or boating or canoeing for many miles on either of these two large river systems.. There are countless creeks throughout the area to fish. Go fishing on Night Hawk Lake or Frederick House Lake. These are both large lakes and both within less than 20 minutes away from the property. Hunt for Moose, Bear, Wolf, Grouse, Ducks and Geese in this area. It’s a hunters paradise. For the hunters , the property is located in Wildlife Management Unit (WMU) 29.
