This property is about 14.1 kilometers southwest of the Town of Black River-Matheson in the District of Cochrane in Northeastern Ontario.

We believe that the preferred mode of transportation would be by ARGO as it is amphibious and you can cross pretty well any type of water crossing you may encounter.

THERE ARE old timber forest roads / trails made when timber was harvested on the Crown lands.
These old timber forest roads / trails go through Crown Lands so you will always have access to your property.
Some of these old timber forest roads / trails are more recent than others and there are a couple of ways to get to this property.
They would be accessible by vehicle to within less of a kilometer by vehicle and the last 900 meters or so by ATV/ARGO in the non-winter months and certainly by snowmobile in the winter months.

The GRINDSTONE CREEK flows through the westerly portion of this property in a north/south direction for about 1,800 feet.
The south end of the creek has been dammed by the local beavers and the pond is about 1 acre in size within the property.
About another 4 acres of pond south of the property line.
Grindstone Creek is known to locals as a good Speckle Trout Creek.
The creek averages anywhere from 10-20 feet wide and apparently it runs year round.

Matheson is the largest and lies approximately 56 kilometers northwest of Kirkland Lake, 65 kilometers east of Timmins city core and 320 kilometers north of North Bay. Matheson.
