The property is in Bond Township which is in the boundary of the Municipality of Black River-Matheson in Northeastern Ontario.

Bond Township is south of the Town of Matheson, Ontario.

You are only about 20 minutes southwest of Matheson.

A review of the Google aerial photos indicate that the mature timber was harvest on this property around 2012.

There is a seasonal creek in the southeast section of the property and it looks like the local beavers have been busy creating about a ¾ acre pond.

There is also a seasonal creek and pond(s) in the northwest quadrant of the property.

The ponds are attracting the game and some waterfowl.

The contour maps show that the property slopes up from the northeast section up to the southwest section of the property.

The difference in height is about 30 meters or about 98 feet over a half mile.

That is a fairly gentle incline but it gives you some good locations to build your hunting cabin so that you can overlook the creeks and ponds.

 

ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY

There are old timber roads and trails that lead to this property.

You will need to use a truck with 4x4 or an ATV or an ARGO to get to this property and that is why this is a good hunting property.

In winter access would be by snowmobile.

The property is bordered by CROWN LANDS to the west and the south.

A few thousand acres of Crown Land.
