Tudhope Township is an UNORGANIZED TOWNSHIP.

Tudhope Township is located Northwest of New Liskeard, Ontario and east of the Community of Elk Lake, Ontario.

You can drive to the property on a seasonal gravel road with a pick up truck in the non winter months.

The road goes through the northeast portion of the property and then carries on past the property.

This property is TOTALLY SURROUNDED BY CROWN LAND on all four sides.

Thousands of acres of Crown Lands.

The mature timber on the surrounding Crown land was harvested in 2007 and the mature timber on this property was harvested by the landowner in 1998.

So, the growth on this property is now about 23 years old and anything that wasn’t mature enough to harvest in 1998 is now 23 years older.

The property is of a rolling type of terrain.

There some rocky outcroppings throughout the property that offers many high spots to overlook the property.

The land basically slopes from the east as the high point down to the west as the low point.

Two fairly large ponds sit on the south easterly portion of the property (see the ariel photos).

These two ponds average about one and a half acres each.

The seller says that in the fall he has seen lots of ducks and geese on the ponds and the big game seem to hang around this area near the ponds.

As a result of the Crown lands in the area being harvested over the years there are many trails on which to ride an ATV or trail bike on.

This is also a great area to hunt in.

PROPERTY RIGHTS

SURFACE RIGHTS come with the property.

ALL TREES are reserved to the Crown. (you are allowed to use some of the trees for your own use ie: for firewood but if you want to harvest the trees to sell to the market then you would need to get a permit from the MNR and pay them a stumpage fee.

MINERAL RIGHTS are reserved to the Crown as they were forfeited back in 1987.

Zoning

This is an UNORGANIZED TOWNSHIP so there is NO ZONING.

You don’t need a building permit to build whatever you want to build.
