From the east side of the property to the west side of the property it is a distance of about 3.96 kilometers or 2.46 miles.

From low-lying sections, where the moose and seasonal waterfowl love to hang out, to high ground with rock outcroppings.
From the topographic maps it notes an elevation from 310 meters in the northern sections to 350 meters along the south.
That is a difference of 40 meters or about 131 feet.
This property is dense with mature trees.
Predominate trees are Spruce Trees and Poplar Trees with a small mix of Birch Trees and some Cedar Trees.

ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY
To access the south portion of this property south of the railway tracks is relatively easy in the non-winter months.
You would have to use a truck as the roads are not suitable for a car.
One of our associates drove to it with a Jeep Cherokee without any issues.
The north portion of the property has some seasonal gravel based roads coming quite close to this property and there are some trails suitable for an ATV or ARGO that go into the property from those gravel based roads.
MCGARRY TOWNSHIP
McGarry is an incorporated township in Temiskaming District in Northeastern Ontario, Canada.
It is on the border with Quebec to the east, along Highway 66 between Kirkland Lake and Rouyn-Noranda.
The Township is about 38 kilometers or about 23 miles east of the larger Town of Kirkland Lake and about 11 kilometers or 7 miles east of the Town of Larder lake.
The Quebec border is only about 5 kilometers or about 3 miles east of the Township.
McGarry Township is a culturally diverse community which includes the communities of Virginiatown, North-Virginiatown and Kearns.
A beautiful place to see and an interesting one to learn about, the Township of McGarry is rich with stories about its mining history.
