The access to this property is by way of 3 season gravel roads. As noted on the mapping provided, the road wanders through the north section of the property. The road is quite good, except for the first 100 feet or so where some heavy machinery is working on the hydro-electric dam. From there on in it was dry and the road was wide.
Surface rights come with this property. The mineral rights are with the Crown.
This is an organized township.
The property is well covered with new growth and mature timbers. Birch, Poplar, Pines and Spruce are event in this area.
The property looks as though there was a forest fire some time ago or maybe there was a selective harvest done some time ago. We did notice some standing burnt trees throughout the property. The property has rolling hills with nice level pockets.
The Namewaminika River flows just to the south of the property. The river boasts great canoeing or kayaking adventures. The river flows into Lake Nipigon.
The Nipigon and Greenstone area are well known for its trophy fishing and game hunting. The property is located in WMU #19.
When we visited the property, we spotted at least 5 piles of bear scat and moose tracks.
