ABOUT THE PROPERTY

This property is typical of the character and natural beauty of the Muskoka area.

Enjoy the rugged natural beauty of this incredible property.

We have a 50 acre PRIME HUNTING PROPERTY that is only about 15 minutes north of the Town of Bala, Ontario.

You can use this property as a home base for prime hunting and then go fishing on the local lakes.

This is a long rectangular property that has about 619 feet of frontage and about 788 feet at the rear of the property.

The west side of the property is about 3,259 feet deep and the east side is also about 3,259 feet deep.

The front portion of the property is a little higher than the center portion.

Depending on the time of year and how much snow accumulated over the winter and the snow melt plus the amount of rain in the spring and summer will determine how big some of the ponds on the property will get.

One pond near the top portion of the property last year got about 10 acres in size and it looked like a small lake (see the pictures).

If it’s a dry year then the ponds will get smaller and may dry up.

Regardless the ponds attract the local wildlife and big game.

The ponds also attract the waterfowl in the spring and fall.

ABOUT THE AREA

Bala, Muskoka which is the hot spot in Muskoka, Ontario is near to this property.

About a two-hour drive north of Toronto, Muskoka makes up the eastern portion of Ontario’s iconic cottage country.

Get away from the big cities and take on the challenge of tracking trophy moose, black bear, deer, turkey, grouse and waterfowl.

You can use this property as a home base for prime hunting and then go fishing on the local lakes.

Imagine building your hunting cottage and being in the middle of nowhere and yet be only about 15 minutes away from Town conveniences like shopping for groceries, going to restaurants and banking and more.

ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY

You can easily drive from the Town of Bala right to the seasonal trail that starts at the Camp Jackson Road.

When you get to the trail then you can place your truck in 4 x 4 mode and then slowly and carefully drive about 530 meters to the southwest corner of the property.

Then just follow the trail west to the other corner of the property which is about 188 meters or 619 feet away.

These “big three” Muskoka lakes are known for lavish vacation homes owned by the rich and famous, including pro athletes, superstar musicians and Hollywood celebrities.

AND for some of the best fishing in this part of the Province.

All of Ontario’s most popular sportfish can be caught in the lakes and rivers of Muskoka, but the fishing is especially good for smallmouth and largemouth bass, walleye, lake trout and northern pike.
