In front of the property the river widens out to between 615 feet and 780 feet.
This is a nice deep river that has a slow current where you can go swimming, fishing and boating.
PACK A LUNCH, grab the kids and go boating all day long.

There is great fishing on Montreal River for northern pike and walleye.
The waters in the area, including the Montreal River, are populated with a variety of species of all sizes.
Popular fish include walleye, lake trout, northern pike and smallmouth bass.
During the colder months you can try your luck at some ice fishing. or go play in the snow by going skiing or snowmobiling.

Many hunters come to this area in search of moose and black bear.
Small game, like snowshoe hare, ruffed and spruce grouse are also common in the region.
