LONG LAKE is a lake formed by the widening of the Englehart River in the Timiskaming District of Northeastern Ontario, Canada.
The lake is a long, narrow lake that runs generally in a straight line from the northwest to the southeast.
The lake is about 32 kilometers long or 20 miles long and adjoins the Englehart River Provincial Park.
The MNR FISH-ON-LINE website states that Long Lake has a surface area of 742.6 Ha or 1,835 Acres.
That the deepest part of the lake is 36.6 meters or 120 feet deep.
That the average depth of Long Lake is 8.9 meters or just over 29 feet deep
FISH SPECIES IN LONG LAKE
Again the MNR web site states that Lake Trout, Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Rock Bass, WALLEYE, YELLOW PERCH and Burbot can all be found in Long Lake.
In fact the MNR stocked Long Lake with over 3,000 yearling Lake Trout in the years 2010 through to 2018.
