Located Northeast of Matheson Township and is less than a 10km (6.3 miles) drive.
Surrounded by private land, but it has a large Creek which runs along the western property line, Nickle Creek.
Access via the creek is granted as “free use, passage and enjoyment of all waterways”.
The land is relatively flat throughout .

Nickle Creek which runs along the western property line can be used to access the subject property, by taking a canoe, kayak or ARGO.
You could probably use a snowmobile along the creek in the winter months.

Within 3.5 km’s you have 3 lakes to choose from:
Painkiller Road is less than half a km to the east of the subject property and runs North and South at this section.
On the East side of Painkiller Road and a short ATV ride over Crown land, you find yourself at Nickle Lake.
Just South of Nickle Lake and you’re at Game Lake.
Both Lakes are great for yellow pirch
You can also head North on Painkiller Road for 3.5km and you will reach Painkiller Lake.
If you really want a fishing adventure, make a day trip to Lake Abitibi.
There you can fish Perch, Pickerel, Pike, Sauger, Sturgeon and Walleye.
A review of the Black River-Matheson Zoning By-Laws shows that this property is in a RU (RURAL ZONE).

The creek ranges in width from about 10 feet to well over 100 feet wide.
The creek originates from Nickle Lake, it meanders through the property and splits up at highway 101.

If you need more variety then just drive west on Highway 101 and do your major shopping in the City of Timmins.
Matheson is the last stop on road 101 to Quebec, about an hour away, and is also about an hour or less from Timmins.
